Help Muthoni cover an overdue gas bill so the household stays safe this winter.

The gas account is 3 months behind. Muthoni received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in August. Muthoni called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which isn't available. The household includes three children under ten, and going through winter without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home. Muthoni is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $100 goes: • Heating arrears: $60 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $20 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
