Help Isabel restart a bicycle repair shop in Bogotá after a long illness and repossession
Isabel has run a bicycle repair shop for four years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $1,150 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Bogotá. In January, a long illness and repossession took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Initial stock: spare parts: $170
• Shop repairs and licensing: $165
• Replacing a full set of tools: $815
With deep gratitude,
Isabel
Updates from Isabel
Update from Bogotá: I made the first payment toward initial stock: spare parts. We're at 3% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us. - Isabel
Good news. Because of your gifts ($35 in total) the plan for initial stock: spare parts is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
