Help Hassan keep his home - 2 months behind on rent
After a long illness, Hassan is 2 months behind on rent and has a final eviction notice from the landlord.

When the hotel closed in November, Hassan fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a final eviction notice was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $650.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by February, the family must leave.
There are two young children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Hassan has started working two part-time jobs, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $650 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $440
• Late fees and court costs: $25
• Utilities in arrears: $35
• First month of rent as a buffer: $150
Every share and every dollar helps.
