I coordinate donations at the Union Family Centre in Mar del Plata. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Mar del Plata, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Union Family Centre on Friday between 9am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Union Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • Sending good thoughts, Regina. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected!

    • Wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't give up. God bless.
