Galina was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at the Moscow Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Galina is 26, worked as a taxi driver until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Moscow Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
