Sachin is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Bakersfield Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,750. The registrar has said Sachin can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Sachin has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Sachin would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Sachin isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Bakersfield Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
