In December an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $320 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $35.
The job should take about three hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Glad we found this place.

Hope it all works out. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
Wishing you the best, Esi. Hope you get there. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Cape Town.
Sending love, Esi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Accra.
Sending good thoughts, Esi. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
