Help Elias keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
The the Thursday Table pantry in Essen is running low just as demand rises; $2,200 will stock it for 9 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Monday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 23 families, and now we feed 106 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 48% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Essen market and keep every receipt.
Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $240
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,400
• Baby formula and diapers: $560
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
