Help Eli through 8 rounds of treatment for stomach cancer
Supporting Eli through stomach cancer: medication, transport to Tel Aviv Cancer Centre, and living costs while He can't work.
Anywhere in the world88 views
Eli was diagnosed with stomach cancer in July. The oncology team at Tel Aviv Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Eli is 52, worked as a bus conductor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tel Aviv Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $10,650 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,500
• Scans and lab work: $1,300
• Transport to Tel Aviv Cancer Centre: $930
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $320
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,600
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Tel Aviv
Thank you. If you're in Tel Aviv I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great.
Shared it with a few friends. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Pune.
