Help Carol keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
Carol runs a volunteer pantry feeding 390 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Wednesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 16 families, and now we feed 390 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 35% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Austin market and keep every receipt.
Each $50 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,850 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $150
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,450
• Baby formula and diapers: $250
