Gerhard passed away on 12 March; we're raising $1,000 for a respectful funeral in Ekurhuleni.

Gerhard, my father, passed away on 12 March after a short illness. He was 57 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,000 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 19 March.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Gerhard to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Transport of the deceased: $75
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $470
• Funeral home services and casket: $455
