Help Beatrice through 8 rounds of treatment for early-stage lung cancer
Supporting Beatrice through early-stage lung cancer: medication, transport to Entebbe University Hospital, and living costs while She can't work.
🇺🇬 Uganda891 views
Beatrice was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in April. The oncology team at Entebbe University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Beatrice is 49, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Entebbe University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Transport to Entebbe University Hospital: $130
• Scans and lab work: $165
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,005
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
