Mobility fund: braille note-taker for Olivier in Toulon
Olivier needs a braille note-taker that the health system won't fund; the cost is $450.

Olivier lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at Toulon General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450.
His current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Olivier could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $450 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $240
• Delivery and set-up: $90
• First-year servicing plan: $120
Thanks for reading all this.

Sending strength. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.
wishing you the best, René. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
