Anton was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in April. The oncology team at Kassel Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Anton is 58, worked as a hairdresser until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kassel Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
