Harsh needs my ride-share car repaired to get back to work in Aurangabad

Without my ride-share car Harsh can't work; a $300 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 6 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $300 goes: • Labor charges: $20 • radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $240 • Towing and inspection: $40 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Updates from Harsh

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($89 in total) I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($36 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Thank you all. We're at 30% now ($89). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward labor charges.

Sure. The biggest one is labor charges, $20. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Happy to explain more.
