Dwarka
Haritha is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at Dwarka Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600. The registrar has said Haritha can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Haritha has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Haritha would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Haritha isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $600 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $55 • Outstanding tuition balance: $350 • Final term tuition: $195 If you're reading this, thank you.
