Giovanna's final semester of a degree in social work in Brescia
Giovanna has worked and saved for four years to study a degree in social work; a $4,200 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Giovanna is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in social work at Brescia University, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,200.
The registrar has said Giovanna can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Giovanna has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Giovanna would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Giovanna isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Brescia University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $4,200 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,950
• Final term tuition: $1,900
• Exam and lab fees: $70
• Textbooks and materials: $280
