Ghada wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Help Ghada stay in her own home with four months of part-time care.
🇪🇬 Alexandria, Egypt1,603 views
I'm caring for my mother, who's 84. After a heart attack Ghada can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Ghada desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Ghada worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $900 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $710
• Medication and prescriptions: $75
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $65
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $50
