Save Ginger: Heitor can't afford the emergency vet
A senior cat named Ginger needs emergency surgery - a $900 bill the family can't cover.

Ginger is my senior cat of six years. On 22 February we rushed to Petrópolis Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $900.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $100 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Petrópolis Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ginger's recovery.

• Emergency surgery: $470
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $240
• Medication and follow-up visits: $85
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $105
