Get Parvati back on the road: my food truck repair fund
Parvati drives for a living in Bhaktapur, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 5 weeks.
🇳🇵 Nepal666 views
I make my living with my food truck. 5 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $205. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $205 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $135
• Labor charges: $50
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $15
• Towing and inspection: $5
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thanks for sharing this. Your post was clear and honest. Thinking of Bhaktapur
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Parvati?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about fuel pump replacement (parts), advice is welcome too. Fair thing to want to know.
Hope things get better soon, Parvati. Small businesses are the heart of Bhaktapur. Hope you're open again soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
Wishing you peace. Hope you get there. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings.
So sorry you're going through this, Parvati. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Love from Cần Thơ
