Get Nada back on the road: my delivery van repair fund
Without my delivery van Nada can't work; a $250 repair would put her back on the road.
🇪🇬 Egypt802 views
I make my living with my delivery van. 3 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $115
• Labor charges: $55
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $45
• Towing and inspection: $35
Thank you for reading my story.

Sending love. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. All the best
Any update on how things are going in Mansoura?
sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Take care
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nada.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. rear axle replacement (parts) comes first ($115) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
Wishing you the best, Nada. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best!
Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Rome.
