Jimena earned a place in Grade 9 at the La Plata Selective School; we're $150 short on required supplies.

Jimena earned a place in Grade 9 at the La Plata Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $150, which is more than they have.
Jimena loves mathematics and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $150 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $75
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25
• School uniform and shoes: $50
With deep gratitude,
Pilar

How is Jimena doing now?
Hang in there. Hope you get there. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Ubud.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Love from Yogyakarta!
best of luck, Pilar. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best
I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 25 people at work.
