Get Lucy back on the road: my tuk-tuk repair fund
Lucy drives for a living in Nairobi, and a broken clutch assembly has stopped all income for 12 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 12 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $40
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $130
• Towing and inspection: $30
Every share and every dollar helps.

thinking of you and your family. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
