Start-up fund for Aldo: reopening a fish stall after a break-in
Aldo lost a freezer and scales to a break-in and needs $1,500 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For six years I have run a fish stall in Milan. In May, a break-in took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Initial stock: the first catch: $250
• Shop repairs and licensing: $470
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $780
Thanks for reading all this.

take care, Aldo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'll check back for the next update.
