Get Leo back on the road: my tuk-tuk repair fund

Leo drives for a living in Tucson, and a broken suspension has stopped all income for 3 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 3 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,600 goes: • suspension replacement (parts): $960 • Labor charges: $280 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $260 • Towing and inspection: $100 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Leo

Rooting for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 11 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
