Get Kemi back on the road: my motorbike repair fund
Kemi drives for a living in Enugu, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 12 weeks.

I make my living with my motorbike. 12 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $160. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $160 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $105
• Labor charges: $15
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Towing and inspection: $5
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Updates from Kemi
Small update. $191 so far, I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.
Thank you all. We're at 62% now ($99). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal.

Thinking of you and your family, Kemi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
