Get Carmela back on the road: my delivery van repair fund
Carmela drives for a living in Lapu-Lapu, and a broken clutch assembly has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 6 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $350 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $240
• Labor charges: $65
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
• Towing and inspection: $15
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Take care, Carmela. Hope you get there. My neighbor in Boston donated after I showed her your page.
Sending love, Carmela. Looking forward to the next update. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Best of luck, Carmela. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 20 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Medan donated after I showed her your page. Take care
Good luck, Carmela. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
