Every year the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive brings together 246 neighbors in Brescia. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • Wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.

Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.

      • Sending strength. Shared this with my family. Please keep us posted. Blessings.
