Get Bakari back on the road: my tuk-tuk repair fund
Bakari's my tuk-tuk is Bakari's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $100.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 12 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $100 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $60
• Towing and inspection: $25
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $15
If you're reading this, thank you.
