Care for Vipul, 85: help cover a carer and medication in Mangaluru
Vipul, 85, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $200 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 85. After worsening Parkinson's disease Vipul can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Vipul desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Vipul worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $200 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $45
• Medication and prescriptions: $130
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $25
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Vipul?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about mobility aids and bathroom adaptations, advice is welcome too. Thanks for looking so closely.
Sending strength, Rohan. Looking forward to the next update. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
Thinking of you, Rohan. Get well soon. Blessings.
Stay strong. This could happen to any of us. Love from Auckland
