Gas fitter needed urgently: Shakil's home isn't safe
Looking for a licensed gas fitter in Mumbai to donate time or work at cost.

In April an inspector told me that my home has a failed boiler with no heating. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $140 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $15.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you, Shakil. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Mississauga.
Thinking of you. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings
Praying for you, Shakil. I hope things turn around soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
thinking of you. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Montpellier this morning.
