Gas fitter needed urgently: Lourdes's home isn't safe
Lourdes has a burst pipe behind the wall, and can't afford a licensed gas fitter to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In June an inspector told me that my home has a burst pipe behind the wall. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $2,350 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $270.
The job should take about three hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

You're not alone. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care.
I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Greetings from Biratnagar
Your post was clear and honest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless!
Thinking of you. Shared this with my family. Greetings from Thane
