Funeral costs for Gabriel's wife, Bella
After the sudden passing of Bella, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.
🇨🇦 Canada459 views
Bella, my wife, passed away on 14 September after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 81 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 27 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Bella to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $4,250 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $2,000
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,400
• Transport of the deceased: $460
• Memorial gathering for the family: $390
Thanks for being kind about this.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Gabriel
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. funeral home services and casket comes first ($2,000) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Strasbourg so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this, Gabriel. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together.
