Dewi is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a computer science degree at the Bogor Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $850.
The registrar has said Dewi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Dewi has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Dewi would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Dewi isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Bogor Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $850 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $460
• Final term tuition: $300
• Exam and lab fees: $40
• Textbooks and materials: $50
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
