My younger brother, Musyoka, is 17 and in Grade 11. Musyoka loves school but chemistry has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The university entrance exam is in August. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Nakuru or online, for about sixteen weeks. Musyoka is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in chemistry, you could change the course of Musyoka's year. I hope life is good to you.

  • Sending good thoughts, Mwangi. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.

    • Best of luck, Mwangi. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Take care

      • Thinking of you and your family, Mwangi. This could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Thika so I could bring a meal. Blessings.

          • So sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Put this on a community board in Cox's Bazar this morning.
