Friendly visitor needed for an 83-year-old neighbor in Sheffield

I'm writing for my neighbor Paisley, who's 83. Paisley lives alone in Sheffield, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives 450 kilometers away. Paisley loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
