Francis wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Francis, 93, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $700 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 93. After a fall and hip fracture Francis can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Francis desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Francis worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $700 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $430
• Medication and prescriptions: $130
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $50
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $90
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
