I'm 76 and I have lived in this house in Houston for 37 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis. The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • So sorry you're going through this, Sneha. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 13 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

    • Thinking of you and your family, Sneha. Shared it with a few friends. My husband and I read this together
