Fighting stomach cancer: help Mateo afford treatment in San Diego

Mateo was diagnosed with stomach cancer in April. The oncology team at San Diego Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Mateo is 53, worked as a construction supervisor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Diego Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
