Fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer: help Princess afford treatment in Manila
Princess is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇵🇭 Philippines1,282 views
Princess was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in September. The oncology team at the Manila Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Princess is 25, worked as a bank teller until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Manila Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $550 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $380
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $55
• Transport to the Manila Oncology Institute: $115
Thanks for reading all this.

Hope you get there. We're a small family in Hồ Chí Minh City but we're thinking of you. All the best!
