Caroline was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in February. The oncology team at the London Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Caroline is 37, worked as a nurse until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the London Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $6,150 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,850 • Transport to the London Oncology Institute: $520 • Household costs while unable to work: $780 Thanks for being kind about this.
