Uche was diagnosed with cervical cancer in September. The oncology team at Epe University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Uche is 28, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Epe University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,600 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $290 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,050 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $100 • Transport to Epe University Hospital: $160 If you're reading this, thank you.
