Fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer: help Aiden afford treatment in Victoria

Aiden is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

In May I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. My oncology team at Victoria Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in July. I was told to expect about 8 weeks away from work. I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 30, I worked as a farmer until May, and I have been the main earner for my household. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Victoria Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly. My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $3,500 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $1,800 • Transport to Victoria Regional Medical Center: $670 • Scans and lab work: $1,030 With deep gratitude, Aiden
