Athens
Theodoros was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in March. The oncology team at Athens Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Theodoros is 32, worked as a primary school teacher until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Athens Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,150 goes: • Transport to Athens Regional Medical Center: $360 • Household costs while unable to work: $510 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $280 I hope life is good to you.
