Fighting prostate cancer: help Paloma afford treatment in Brooklyn

Paloma was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April. The oncology team at the Brooklyn Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Paloma is 42, worked as a farmer until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Brooklyn Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
