Pooja's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Help Pooja begin the first year of senior school with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom1,357 views
Pooja earned a place in the first year of senior school at Manchester Boys' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $950, which is more than they have.
Pooja loves design and technology and wants to become an engineer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $950 goes:
• Laptop: $430
• School uniform and shoes: $210
• Textbooks and workbooks: $230
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $80
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Pooja
Sure. The biggest one is laptop, $430. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. It helps to be asked.
Rooting for you. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Best of luck, Pari. Study hard! Put this on a community board in Gujranwala this morning. Thinking of Manchester

Thinking of you and your family. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Greetings from San Diego.
