Fighting prostate cancer: help Osamu afford treatment in Yokohama
8 rounds of treatment are planned at Yokohama Cancer Centre; we are asking for help with the costs insurance does not cover.

Osamu was diagnosed with prostate cancer in June. The oncology team at Yokohama Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Osamu is 29, worked as a tailor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Yokohama Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,100
• Scans and lab work: $1,000
• Transport to Yokohama Cancer Centre: $300
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $650
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,200
