Renato was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in July. The oncology team at Santos University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Renato is 34, worked as a bank teller until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Santos University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
