A short-term foster for a calm retriever in New York while the owner recovers.

I'm going into hospital for surgery on Wednesday, for about 4 weeks, and I have no family nearby to look after Pepper, my eleven-year-old retriever. Pepper is a lap-cat who needs a quiet home.
I'm looking for a temporary foster within New York. I'll provide food, bedding and medication, and cover the vet costs. Pepper is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
I'd love to share regular updates and photos, and I'd love to pay it forward by volunteering at the shelter when I'm better.
