Newcastle upon Tyne
Autumn was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in May. The oncology team at Newcastle upon Tyne University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Autumn is 39, worked as a bakery worker until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Newcastle upon Tyne University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $3,650 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $590 • Household costs while unable to work: $2,150 • Transport to Newcastle upon Tyne University Hospital: $910 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Robert
